SCOTT FINEGOLD

25+ Year Experience, Award-winning, Global Corporate Real Estate Strategist

Scott Finegold’s unique background and skill set provide tangible benefits to our firm, our partners and our clients. Prior to founding Finegold Commercial Real Estate and Partners in 2007, Scott worked at the largest privately-held global commercial real estate brokerage firm, advising and collaborating with some of the largest landlords, partners and most innovative corporations on the globe. This experience provided Scott with a thorough understanding of the strategies and tactics that landlords, investors and corporate tenants use—knowledge and experience he now puts to use as a global real estate advisor and our firm’s lead strategist.

In addition, Scott is not “just” a licensed commercial real estate broker with over 25 years in the field. He’s an experienced global business professional who has done it all. Scott has been involved in starting a VC-funded tech company, and engaged in a tech IPO in the 90s. He also worked for a $20B publicly-traded Silicon Valley technology company with over 50,000 global employees serving over 400,000 customers in 175 countries, and was responsible for an annual $200 million P&L. So when Scott analyzes our client’s real estate needs and opportunities, he does so from a very holistic business perspective. He’s mindful of today’s trends in hiring, growth, scale, expansion, but he’s also lived through the economic cycles of the past 30 years—and can therefore advise Clients on global expansion and cost-cutting/consolidation initiatives.

As a third-generation Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area native, Scott understands the nuances of the Northern California area. He can tell you exactly why a particular site would best suit your needs compared to a nearly-identical location a few miles away. He has personally commuted using car share services, airports, freeways, ferry service, CalTrain and BART. He has personally commuted from Los Gatos to San Jose, from Palo Alto to San Francisco, from Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Oakland, Alameda and Lafayette to/from San Francisco…and almost everything in between. Commute challenges and opportunities can be a valid consideration for many, and shouldn’t be underestimated.

Scott, with his wife Wendy and three boys, resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are very active in the community with both fundraising and volunteer efforts with non-profits such as Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco, which helps homeless youth, and Bay Area children’s sporting programs and Boy Scouts of America.

Wendy Finegold

Wendy Finegold is a Principal at Finegold Commercial Real Estate and Partners. She helps ensure client success by leveraging her background, which includes 15 years of award-winning sales, marketing and customer service in both the private and public sectors.

Before Finegold Commercial Real Estate and Partners, Wendy spent over ten years at Pfizer Inc and Wyeth managing relationships with top health care organizations and hospitals including Stanford, UCSF/Benioff, and John Muir Hospital. Wendy held various management and customer success roles with The Ritz Carlton early in her career, both in San Francisco and Hawaii.

In addition, Wendy volunteers with nonprofits including St Luke’s/Children’s Health Guild, Larkin Street Youth Services, and several local educational providers, including Acalanes High School in various volunteer fundraising capacities. Wendy graduated from California State University Chico.
